Headway is a short documentary produced for the Cultural Exchanges Festival, capturing the realities of being a young creative in Leicester. Through conversation and observation, the film explores how early-career artists navigate belonging and opportunity within the city’s creative scene. Blending interviews, it reflects on the challenges and small triumphs of building a creative life in an ever-shifting cultural landscape like the East Midlands.
