Earthly Reminders is a body of digital illustrations and mixed-media paintings created for The Blonde Beet. The exhibition invited viewers to slow down and ground themselves in the small, steady gestures that sustain us in everyday life.
Developed through a period of stillness and autistic burnout, the series builds on my ongoing interest in art as a language of care. Each piece combines digital and analogue processes, layering intuitive drawing with tactile detail to form gentle visual anchors.
Installed within a social space, Earthly Reminders became both exhibition and environment: a site for conversation and hopefully, contemplation. I wanted the work to spark dialogue around care, activism, and accessibility, or simply offer a sense of being held and seen.
